Rob is a pioneer in the delivery of networked, scalable spatial data architectures.
He has over 38 years experience leading development and application of international data standards through the OGC and W3C.
Rob has experience working with Government Organisations throughout the world in the design of global interoperable information networks.
Rob is a leader in the development of standards-based architectures focused on enabling data interoperability at both a local and global level. His work is world leading and has enabled the creation of extensible "systems of systems" to be designed and implemented.
Rob is a co-author of a white paper for the "Technical design of a global interoperable information network" commissioned and published by the Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi.
In March, 2023, Rob joined the Advisory Board of Pangaea Innovations to provide technical and strategic advice on the application of model-driven standards architectures to enable our spatial data infrastructures to seamlessly connect with external semantic and knowledge information systems.
